I am retired US Navy with 22 years active duty service. I enlisted in November 1974 and attended bootcamp in Orlando RTC. I am a designated Naval Aircrewman on the H-1 Huey helicopter and was selected for Chief and initiated in Sep 1987 and then selected for Senior Chief in 1990. I was commissioned as a Limited Duty Officer (LDO) in November 1990. I met and married my sailor husband in Sigonella, Sicily in 1978 and we have three sons and their families. I am a widow and moved to The Villages to be around other women veterans specifically. I love it already and thank you for welcoming me.
