I am a US Navy veteran that was stationed in NAS Oceana with VF-101. My job was as an AZ, or Aviation admin, that was responsible for maintenance logbooks and flight hours on the F-14s. I spent all my time on shore duty since women were not allowed to be on combat ships such as aircraft carriers back then.

I am married to a retired US Army helicopter pilot and am a mother of three grown adults as well as three grandchildren. I currently work at the VA as a APRN in psychiatry though my original background is in cardiology.
